Graphic Design Intern
Publishers Clearing House
(June 2019 – January 2020)
I assisted the on-line Creative Digital Media team and worked under their Senior Art Director. My daily duties included working on creative projects for their Acquisitions groups, from brainstorming creative concepts to designing banner ads and registration pages. I was responsible for the design, production, and execution of various creative assets and ensuring they met all business goals and objectives, company and legal standards, and creative strategy points.

My job was to assist customers in making style choices and provide high-quality customer service to ensure an exceptional shopping experience. My duties also included overseeing the on-site training of new associates, and handling merchandise and on-site equipment to complete online and in-person transactions.
(February – November 2017)
My main responsibility was to keep the website up-to-date with the company's latest designs and products, and to maintain current records and inventory. I also assisted in social media outreach to promote product lines, and provided general office support and customer service in this fast-paced, creative environment.
Parrish Art Museum
(May – August 2016)
I supported the Museum and Education Directors in conducting and compiling research to inform upcoming exhibits, created content for several wall descriptions and audio tours, and provided on-site support for the museum's largest fundraiser of the year.
Nassau County Art Museum
(May – August 2015)
I provided support for the Museum Director and Chief Registrar on exhibition research throughout the summer, and assisted in transitioning galleries and exhibits. I wrote wall label content and created visitor materials for the museum's Education department. I was also responsible for archiving history reports and catalogs, maintaining current and up-to-date records, and the preparation of maintenance and condition reports for the indoor galleries and outdoor sculpture park.

This graduate-level program developed and honed my skills and sensibilities as a graphic designer. My coursework included but was not limited to Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, Interactive and Web Design, Publication Design, UX/UI Design, Branding Concepts, Identity Design, Typography, Digital Layout and Color Theory.
(Completed January 2018)
This intensive 10-week program was focused on web design principles and applications, branding and identity concepts, and working with Adobe Suite software.

My art history and studio art studies enabled me to hone my critical thinking, writing, public speaking, observation, and illustration techniques and skills. To further my education and knowledge, I took the opportunities to study art, history, language, and culture in Peru, Spain, and Italy.
